Manager Aviation Projects

Payment: Commensurate with experience

Location: Home office

 

World Air Operations has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who has significant experience in aviation logistics planning and flight operations management.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • - Overall responsibility and accountability for the management, from start to finish, of designated flights and projects
  • - Plan sensible routings for aircraft movements
  • - Create, issue, and file flight plans derived from initial route reviews and analysis
  • - Identify and apply for flight permits and air traffic rights, as may be required
  • - Source and secure fuel services
  • - Plan and coordinate ground handling services
  • - Address any potential challenges and issues, as and when needed
  • - Ensure the project or flight is executed efficiently, safely, and within budget

 

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of practical and relevant experience gained in a Corporate Flight Department; Aircraft Ferry organization; or Flight Support Provider.
  • - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • - Superior MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe skills
  • - Able to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
  • - Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

- Your choice - this is a home office based role.
