World Air Ops is looking for additional support in Flight Dispatch & Trip Support; managing and dispatching some of the most interesting flights in the world for our Airline, Manufacturer, Military and Lessor customers. To complement our International Ops team in Toronto, Shannon, Vienna, Doha, and Singapore, and Shannon, we are looking for additional support based in the Americas, in a home office based role. This position requires solid International Flight Ops experience in planning non-scheduled flights.


This is more than just a dispatch role. World Air Ops specialises in providing a complete A-B service for commercial aircraft, and as such you will plan a variety of aircraft from small turboprop to heavy jet, military, and experimental. This is your opportunity to combine excellent Flight Planning skills with the big picture, considering regulatory, crewing, political, and commercial factors.


Additional to managing ad-hoc flights, you will also engage in our Project Management work, coordinating and liaising with ATC, Airline Commercial departments, Fuel Providers, CAA's, SAR, and Aircraft Lessors. Our regular customers include Lockheed Martin, Air Canada, De Havilland/Viking Air, the US State Dept, NASA, Pratt & Whitney; we manage aircraft types from DHC6 up to B777, F-16's, Kamov Helicopters, and occasionally Korean Ice Breakers!


General Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Aviation Projects Manager, you will assist with the complete management, from start to finish, of designated flights and projects

• Plan sensible routings for aircraft movements

• Create, issue, and file flight plans derived from initial route reviews and analysis

• Identify and apply for flight permits and air traffic rights, as may be required

• Source and secure fuel services

• Plan and coordinate ground handling services

• Address any potential challenges and issues, as and when needed.

• Ensure the project or flight is executed efficiently, safely, and within budget



MUST have a minimum of 2 years of practical and relevant experience gained in a Corporate Flight Department; Aircraft Ferry organization; or Flight Support Provider.

MUST be located in the Americas in timezones UTC-4 to UTC-9

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Superior MS Word, MS Excel, and PDF Handling skills

• Strong aptitude for multi-tasking and prioritizing, with excellent attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

• Able to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
